The Spring Summer 2016 Collection by CHRISTINA ECONOMOU draws inspiration from the 70s-style and silhouettes as well as the playfulness of children’s iconography.

The SS2016 Collection is defined by loose and classic lines, textural contrast and fun prints. Highlights of the collection included patchwork maxi dresses, denim jumpsuits, flared pants, silk shirts, oversized culottes, trenches, cropped tops and sheer skirts.

Focusing on subversive colour and texture, Christina Economou followed a playful direction using the colours of pink, petrol green, deep blue, yellow and white, resulting in patchwork prints and line-drawings.

CHRISTINA ECONOMOU uses exquisite silk fabrics produced in the historic silk town of Soufli in Northern Greece and its printed silk is made according to the unique Greek silk printing savoir-faire.
